TV WORLD is a video program including artists Dara Birnbaum, Dan Graham, Ken Jacobs, Tony Oursler, Paper Rad, Eric Siegel, Bec Stupak and Ryan Trecartin.

The program presents artists whose works deal with television as a popular medium. As Birnbaum says of her own videos, these works all "manipulate a medium which is itself highly manipulative." The program displays works from artists whose practice is to recapture TV, either by re-using TV fragments (Dara Birnbaum, Bec Stupak, Tony Oursler) or be re-enacting new, deviant TV universes (Paper Rad and Ryan Trecartin). The result is a selection of highly entertaining POP videos that voice a response to television, its message (or lack thereof) and the power it carries.

The program runs under 1 hour in length; with all but one videos running under 10 minutes. The works’ creation dates range from 1969 to 2006.
