The artist's abording here the run in his spiritual dimension and the sports training as an intimate and solitary story of effort. We're always fascinated by the striking, sensual beauty, Muriel Toulemonde's images, while the bodies which she gives us to see - in full effort, forced or relaxed - also evoke time and death through the prism of a very succeeded aesthetics.
The body and the time, the game and the fight, the pleasure and the suffering, the beauty and the fear are in the heart of its work, until they become obsessional there. There's no exit in her images, except that of the present moment, of this disturbing moment which is shown to us, in an infinitely just balance of the body moving in the space, between dream and choreography.
