Curating
On the invitation of art centres, museums, festivals, cultural or media centres, EDV organises exhibitions, programmes and all kinds of events centred on video-art.These events present artists whose work is distributed or not by EDV.

EDV organises, in the Midi-Pyrenees region, presentations of artworks in parallel with conferences given by artists in universities. These exhibitions are put together with the artistic directors of different galleries.

Distribution
Since 2002, EDV rents out videos made by French artists at a regional, national and international level. Its catalogue has started to include European works. Extracts from the videos are available to watch on-line.

The renting price for the videos varies according to the type of video and the number of screenings. An estimate can be quickly provided by e-mail on demand. For each screening, the artist receives 70% of the amount paid by the "borrower".

Mediation
EDV organises activities in universities, associating the exhibition of video artworks with conferences in the presence of the artist.
EDV organises educational projects in schools, etc, focusing on the moving image, new technologies and interviews with artists.

It is possible to consult, on the premises, the different works presented in EDV's catalogue, by appointment.

Support
EDV welcomes and supports young artists by screening their videos or organising events.
